Letter to the Body of Elders, October 2012 on Child Abuse

The October 1, 2012 letter to the Body of Elders regarding Child Abuse is concerning in regards to the current revelations regarding pedophilia and child abuse in many organizations around the world. The Watchtower Society of Jehovah’s Witnesses, directed by the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses, are not exempt from this problem. Of course child abuse and pedophilia in any organization is a serious crime and tragedy, and within a religious organization, even more of an outrage. However, worse still is the suppression and cover up of such activity, as well as the arrogant attitude of the Governing Body, as well as other religious theocratic governing bodies is an even more serious issue. Of course, the Watchtower can not hide these abuses, and neither can any other organization.
